I own E402, wk 40 and C306, wk 21. Both 1 bed sleeps 4.
Unfortunately my husband has recently been diagnosed with a degenerative lung disease - holidays are NOT our first priority at the moment.
I am looking to sell, or rent, these weeks for 2009 if anyone is interested?
Thanks for reading.

Staff at Sunset Bay as always are fantastic BUT in week 51 the 'entertainer' played amplified music and held quizzez and Bingo for approx 6 hours per day. It was shockling. We could not enjoy the sun on our own balcony. The noise even intruded into the flat with the windows closed. Not the sort of hoiday I could recommend.
Reception staff could not help as the 'entertainment' is subcontracted by Diamond Resorts. |

After many happy holiday since the 80s with my husband at our Duplex Apartment H402 which is 2 beds 2 bath sleeps 6 large side balconly smaller side front one.I now find I have to rent or sell weeks 4@5 Jan/feb due to the death of my husband and my ill health I can no longer fly see marketplace. I would be prepared to swop for Scool Summer Holidays in England. My husband and I would hire a car and tour the whole island but Sunset Bay is the best of them all.I really regret that I will no longer be able to go and also not see the wonderful Tenerife Fiesta which is held those weeks. Thank you Harry Taylor and Dennis Corbett for all the help you have given me and for the hard work you have done for all of us and the club over the years. |

Hi A quick question has anyone any knowledge of a company called (** Interexworld (com), they are promising to sell my timeshare, with the usual need for deposit from the seller. They are based in Vienna Austria with a phone number of 0871 971 1150. Is this another company to avoid, |

Hi Elizabeth
Points are very hard to sell at anytime but more so in todays economic climate. The best way is to try and sell to existing points owners. There is a site on yahoo groups with diamond points owners which may be of use.

Hi Jonathan
If the maintenance fee is not paid by July it is repossessed and you lose the use of it. In past years this has not tended to happen due to the change of management company. This year it will be implemented. I would still inform DRI of your intentions.

Hi, Dri will not take back points or weeks .RCI required 12 months notice of taking your unit out. The best way to sell is to get DRI to convert the points to a fixed week. If you want more info me please email me

I have just been contacted by IHOC (International Holiday Ownership Consultants) with a view to selling my timeshare and saying that they do not ask for any up-front fees and deal only with corporate buyers not private. Anybody heard of them? |

Beware of a company called Global Holiday Servcies who claim to have a buyer for your timeshare but need you to pay a "returnable deposit" of £995 to ensure you don't back out of the deal before the sale goes through - Enough said!!! |

Beware of a company called Starting Point Marketing who may offer to sell your timeshare for a very good price, but will then ask for a 'returnable' deposit of 1200 euros, which of course does not get returned and the sale does not go through. Thankfully I did not take them up on their offer. For more information see http://forum.holidaywatchdog.com/search.php?sid=9181b342ba3864aa76e67df05147ea23. |
